I'm not that type of girl.

I have just finished this book. And if you are looking for a good read this is it.
Emerald's mum is an escort. She gives Emerald her first drink at an early age, introducing her to aspects of her life. When something terrible happens Emerald goes to live with her grandparents. And there she meets Carter Black.
For me this story was ok. I felt the pace was a bit lacking. It didn't compel me the way I thought it would. I like Emerald's character. I felt sorry for her and was glad she got to discover herself.
And Carter what's there not to like. He's hot, sexy and wont take any of Emerald's crap.
This book is good. It has some great aspects that I really liked and thought were funny.
I give this 3/5 stars.
